We're thrilled to host day-long classes taught by Heather Clark of The Sleeping Sirens, where you can learn how to make your own taxidermy mounts from a full sized rabbit, kit fox head, parakeet, or a large rat!
In these classes, students will work with sustainably sourced frozen animals to learn the basics of taxidermy. In addition to learning how to preserve and display animals, students in the class will be provided with tools and materials so they can customize their own unique creations. Optional habitats can be built out with fun foliage elements from nature.
Returning students will learn an entirely new set of skills, as each type of animal preparation is different. We hope to continue to help you expand your hands on knowledge.
While rabbit mount classes will be held in every city, kit fox and parakeet classes are only available at select Sunday events. Please check ticketing pages for event availability.
This class is for adults and mature teens only. Participants are required to be over the age of 18, or 16 with parental consent.
For our participants have an amazing experience, please make sure that you are of age before purchasing a ticket and are purchasing a ticket for each person that is expecting to be attending the class.
Our instructor has prepped hides and ordered all supplies for each individual attendee—we don't want anyone to miss out because they were under age or didn't purchase a ticket.
Tickets are non-refundable.
